Applicants to this top-up award should already hold a PG Diploma in coaching; a PG Diploma in the cognate subjects of leadership, HR, organisational behaviour, strategy, management development, decision-making, governance or action learning with at least 60 level 7 credits including specific coaching areas, this can include sports coaching; a PG Diploma in a non-cognate subject supported by evidence of an aptitude for the subject applied for, or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work environment.

You will learn to critique and enhance your professional coaching skills through reflexive practice and action learning. You will also hone your understanding of coaching practice to develop your personal coaching profile. You might already be a practising business coach seeking to enhance your coaching methodology and skills, an executive who wants to add coaching to your consultancy portfolio or a human resources director. You will learn to use your skillset and experience to act as a catalyst for positive change in the workplace.
Your supervisor will help you develop your research skills as you carry out an evidence-based research project in your selected coaching field. Areas you might choose to focus on include: ontological coaching, team coaching and developmental coaching.
