Applicants should either have at least a second class honours Qualifying Law Degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law. Applicants are required to provide a letter from their awarding institution to confirm they hold a qualifying Law degree.

Course content

This is the full LPC master’s course and forms part of the vocational stage of training required if you wish to qualify as a solicitor. The Solicitors Regulation Authority recognises this course as meeting its training requirements and covering the necessary legal topics.

As part of your course, you’ll:

  • Study interactive workshops based on realistic case studies that explore the challenge of professional practice
  • Learn from a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with significant professional experience
  • Have a choice of option modules that will enable you to tailor your qualification to your areas of interest
  • Complete an extended written dissertation on a subject of your choice, with support from your tutors, during your Independent Legal Research Project
