Entry requirements (Home students)

​Normally minimum 2.2, relevant professional experience and current employment in the field of education.
Applicants with existing and current qualifications may be able to bring credits into the programme via RPL or RPEL. Please contact the Programme Leader, Carmel Arnold (C.Arnold@ljmu.ac.uk) for further information.

Course content

Develop reflective professional practice in the area of inclusion, special educational needs and disability.

  • Share and develop best practice with other professionals across a range of educational settings and phases
  • Benefit from a dynamic learning environment which encourages you to use theory to reflect on and develop best practice
  • Benefit from a flexible approach which enables you to fit study around your other commitments
This is a part-time course. Sessions are delivered as twilights during the week, at the end of the working day. The programme is delivered via workshops, online, face to face taught sessions and tutorials.

Information for international students

Please note: this programme is not suitable for students who require a Tier 4 visa. Due to immigration requirements, Tier 4 international students must study on a full-time basis.
