Entry requirements

You will need:
  • a minimum 2:2 honours degree in an engineering discipline
  • an equivalent professional qualifications with relevant work experience
Additional information:
  • IELTS English language requirement: 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component)
  • Pearson requirements: 58-64 (minimum 51 in each component for UKVI purposes)
  • RPL is accepted on this programme

The course is designed to equip you with a range of skills and techniques to help you reaching senior positions as an Engineer and Technical Manager in manufacturing process engineering, with particular emphasis on advanced manufacturing technologies and the application of advanced materials.

At LJMU we are proud to offer you more than 200 workstations that operate industry standard software worth up to £20,000, including Solid Works for CAD, ANSYS and ABAQUS. We will also provide you with a copy/license of this software to facilitate your work.
