Course content

As a centre of excellence, we aim to promote the better health of peoples, particularly of the less developed countries of the tropics and sub-tropics, by providing and promoting high quality education, conducting first-class research, and providing appropriate consultancy services.

Department specialisms

Cerebral Malaria in Children; New Anti-Malarial Drugs; Maternal Anaemia, Malaria and Birthweight; Meningitis; Hepatitis and HIV in Drug Users; Sleeping Sickness; Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases.

Information for international students

Excellent standard of written and spoken English; minimum recent 6.5 IELTS score required.
