Course content

This programme in human resource management primarily takes a managerial perspective and places HRM in a wider business context. The programme is based in the Employment Relations and Organisational Behaviour Group.

The programme has been designed so as to allow students to satisfy the educational requirements of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) professional level of membership. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in workshops that help to develop the skills and competencies required by the CIPD and, if required, will be given assistance in applying for CIPD membership.
