The entrance requirements are a second-class honours degree of a recognised university in science, social science, or other related subjects, or a degree in medicine, nursing or equivalent. Applicants with an appropriate technical qualification and work experience, or equivalent qualifications, are also welcomed. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience.
Months of entry
This stream provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve the global health of populations, communities and particular groups within them. The focus is mainly on high- and middle-income countries. The emphasis is on the use, development and critical evaluation of conceptual models, evidence and methods of analysis, and on practical, effective interventions.
