At least a 2.2 Honours degree in a relevant subject area (e.g. accounting or finance); or Fundamentals Level (Knowledge and Skills) of the ACCA professional examinations; or completion of the Operational and Managerial levels of CIMA examinations; or the equivalent professional accountancy qualifications of an overseas accountancy body. We welcome qualifications from around the world. English language qualifications for international students: IELTS score of 6.5. Please see the LSBU website for details of possible exemptions. Course contentA career in the accounting sector requires a high level of understanding of both the theory and practice of accounting and finance, and this specialist Masters' degree is aimed towards partly qualified accountants who want to combine their practical experience with further academic training. The course will develop your knowledge to higher levels and is aligned to professional body qualifications. It part-prepares you for undertaking further professional examinations in accounting. There is entry with advanced standing (Fast Track route) for fully qualified CCAB accountants.
