Entry requirements

Although applicants normally require a first degree (usually at least a 2:2) or a Higher National Diploma in a relevant subject and a minimum of three years postqualification experience in a relevant field to undertake postgraduate study here we recognise that many people have a wealth of valuable skills and knowledge they've developed at work or through training. If candidates have the potential to succeed in postgraduate or post-experience studies we'll consider their application on its individual merit. Applications may be considered where candidates demonstrate a combination of educational qualifications and work experience.

This new and innovative course recognises that modern organisations require ambitious IT professionals with a balanced combination of business, IT, entrepreneurship, project management and interpersonal skills.

Aimed at graduates or professionals seeking to blend IT with business management skills, this course provides an in-depth understanding of technology and its role within today's business and also the people and project management skills required to be a successful IT professional in any sector.

This course will prepare you for a career as a hybrid manager-technologist developing information systems strategies, and e-Business solutions to transform businesses into a cloud-based service infrastructures.

* Provides a balance between management and technology-related subjects with a special focus on the IT project management, entrepreneurship and e-business applications.
