Entry requirements

Although applicants normally require a first degree (usually at least a 2:2) or HND, in a relevant subject and a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a relevant field to undertake postgraduate study, we recognise that many people have a wealth of valuable skills and knowledge developed at work or through training. If you have the potential to succeed in postgraduate or post-experience studies, we will consider your application on its individual merits.

Course content

This course will familiarise you with the concepts and tools of marketing and its vital role in business. This will enable you to operate in highly competitive markets and implement both tactical and strategic decisions available to the marketing manager. You will also be provided with the tools to monitor and evaluate actions arising from marketing decisions. The core units provide the non-business graduate with the necessary grounding in the marketing business field to then specialise in specific areas. The course concentrates upon tactical and strategic implementation of the business marketing function in a competitive environment.
