Entry requirements

You’ll need a good UK honours degree – at least a 2:2 – or the international equivalent and at least 1-2 years of HR and/or relevant management experience. We’ll also welcome your application if you don’t have a degree, but you have the equivalent professional qualification or significant relevant management experience.

However, for individuals who do not have a degree, and are presently working in a role involving elements of people management and HR, then our Certificate in Professional Studies HRM may be of interest.

At the time of commencing the course you must be working in Human Resources or a related area.

Overseas applicants will require IELTS with an overall score of 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification. Accepted English qualifications can be viewed here.

Professional development

This part-time course is designed to fit in around your existing commitments. You will be able to conduct your management research report or dissertation with your current employer, allowing you to see how to put theory into practice.

The MSc and PgDip are fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). You’ll achieve a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM and become an associate member of the CIPD when you graduate.
