Course content

The global nature of today’s workforce means Human Resource (HR) professionals face new challenges and opportunities in the workplace. With specialist knowledge in the field of HR, you can be at the forefront of solving these issues.

This course is designed to give you a thorough grounding of the world of HR. It’ll help you develop the specialist skills you’ll need to progress to HR management (HRM) roles.

Whether you already work in HR and want to become professionally qualified, or are looking to move into the field, we’ll help you to achieve your ambition.

Professional development

This part-time course is designed to fit in around your existing commitments. You will be able to conduct your management research report or dissertation with your current employer, allowing you to see how to put theory into practice.

The MSc and PG Diploma are fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). You’ll achieve a Level 7 Advanced Diploma in HRM and become an associate member of the CIPD when you graduate.

(It's worth noting, however, that the PgCert alone doesn't hold the CIPD accreditation)
