Entry requirements

Candidates for MSc in Mathematical Science will normally be expected to have at least a Second Class Honours Grade 1 in Mathematical/Theoretical Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline. Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.

Course content

Master of Science in Mathematical Science.

Students take modules in Mathematical Physics and Mathematics. At least 4 of the modules (at least 45 ECTS) must be taken at the Masters level (level 6 in Mathematical Physics and level 5 in Mathematics). The remaining credits may be made up at levels 4, 5 or 6.
