Entry requirements

  • We normally require a second class honours degree 2:2 or above, or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject such as Creative Writing or English, or another similar subject
  • We will also consider individuals with a minimum of three years' work experience
  • Those without formal qualifications will need to demonstrate relevant writing experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level

In response to the world's fast-changing media landscapes, we have developed a unique course to equip writers of all kinds with crucial skills, contemporary knowledge and industry insights to meet the challenges and opportunities of today's digital, publishing and business environments.

At Middlesex we support and nurture the creative aspirations of writers from a diverse range of backgrounds, from novelists to poets, essayists, biographers, media professionals and more.
