A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in:

  • computing science
  • mathematics
  • physics
  • statistics
  • another strongly quantitative discipline.

We also accept MMaths and MPhys degrees.

Course content

Join us for your MPhil or PhD in Statistics. As a research postgraduate in the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics you'll be supported by a team of experts in your chosen field. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skillset through appropriate research training.

Information for international students

English Language Requirements:

Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills).

If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English course.
