A good UK honours degree (minimum 2.1) in a relevant discipline. IELTS 6.5 required by applicants whose first language is not English. An MA in a relevant topic can also be helpful in some areas.

Geography researchers are engaged in a range of projects that reflect current trends in the discipline and contemporary social policy issues, both nationally and internationally.

Compulsory research practice course to be attended.
