You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.2 or above). One academic or vocational reference is required. English language requirements apply.

Course content

This course explores the strategies behind the publishing industry and its marketing. You’ll analyse stakeholder and public interests, evaluate mergers and acquisitions and consider the influential role of technology. You’ll gain a practical introduction to digital publishing, developing your understanding of its capabilities and what makes a successful digital publishing proposal. Finally, you’ll learn about the global publishing market, examining international publishing laws, copyright, moral right, authorship and ownership.

Fees and funding

Bursaries are available to applicants which are determined on a competitive basis. The bursaries available cover up to half the cost of the tuition fees.
