Course content

Our Management and Leadership courses are an innovative part-time programme, which will help you to improve and develop your management capabilities.

You will be working on real life work based projects to complete your assignments which allows you to add value to your organisation as you go through the programme. A flexible programme of short intensive study blocks enable you to schedule your studies around the needs of your career.

As a staged award you can sign up for a Certificate, Diploma or Masters award. In total it will take around two years to complete, but this depends on individual student level as it can be completed sooner.

Postgraduate Certificate is aimed at aspiring and middle managers, typically those who have a developing career in a functional area of business or a sector, and are seeking to broaden their management skills.

Postgraduate Diploma focuses on the personal development of middle and aspiring senior managers’ leadership capabilities. It aims to increase your strategic perspective, as well as your skills and confidence as a business leader.

The MSc is aimed at senior managers, heads of departments and aspiring directors, who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills in corporate leadership and governance.

You can choose to follow the general management route or to specialise in Public Services Management or Lean Management. On these specialist routes your modules will be tailored to deepen your understanding in your chosen area.
