Entry requirements

You will need a good honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience, examples of your work, a project proposal. If English is not your first language, you'll also need IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

On the MA Product Design course you will be encouraged to explore the multidisciplinary field of design and challenge the norms in design thinking.

A variety of modules will help you to consider not only materials and manufacturing, but also international design strategies, helping you to understand global market forces.

By identifying trends that are supported by new technological opportunities you will be able to develop a product idea and fully consider its marketing, branding and packaging.

Information for international students

IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (paper) 560 with a written score of 5.0 or TOEFL (IBT) 83 with a written score of 24 is required by applicants whose first language is not English. Language tuition and support in English is available. For further information visit www.ntu.ac.uk/international
