UK honours degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent in a related discipline such as computer science or ICT. Applications are also invited from students with non-traditional qualifications or relevant experience. International students need IELTS 6.5 (with minimum of 5.5 in reading, listening, speaking and writing).

The MRes Electronic Systems is an exciting course which gives students the opportunity to develop research skills in computing specialisms which meet their interests and career development needs.
At the beginning of the course you will undertake a Research Methods module to develop the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out your main research work. You will also select two further modules, in order to develop specific technical knowledge related to your research project.
This degree aims to develop superior qualified graduates equipped to work for national and international employers. It allows students to combine material from any of our taught Computing Master's courses in the School of Science and Technology with an extended research project over a one-year period.
