Entry requirements

A UK honours degree (minimum 2.2) or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as earth or natural sciences, geography, law or business studies. Applications from students with other relevant qualifications and experience will also be considered.

Course content

The MRes Environmental Management programme provides students with extensive training in the theory and practice of Environmental Management, delivered primarily through a dynamic eLearning system. You will begin by studying two modules online over six months:

  • Associate Certificate Course in Environmental Management (UK)
  • Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001)

This is followed by a seven-day UK-based residential field course during which the Practical Resource Management module is delivered and theoretical knowledge can be put into practice.
