Course content

The Biogeochemistry Research Centre consists of the Biogeochemistry and Environmental Analytical Chemistry group (BEACh) and the Petroleum and Environmental Geochemistry Group (PEGG), bringing together two of the strongest research groups in the University, both with excellent reputations for the delivery of world-class research, teaching and enterprise activities. Investigations include the production, fate and effects of natural and pollutant organic and inorganic chemicals in the environment. Research spans the globe, the Arctic to Antarctica, and we have an enviable, modern instrumentation base with which to conduct our experiments. Our researchers have proved to be very employable in both industry and academe.
