MA: BA or BSc degree required; if aged 25 or over relevant experience considered.
Months of entry
No other department in the world specialises in both the theory and practice of the traditional arts/crafts. Students are encouraged to pursue their own particular skills - whether it be painting, woodcarving, jewellery, stained-glass, ceramics etc, at the same time as attending the classes of geometry, calligraphy, arabesque and others.

Connections include Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Jordan, Spain and the USA. Our students come from many different countries and backgrounds.
Fees and funding
British citizens and EEC students can apply to the AHRC for funding (MA and possibly PhD only).
