Course content

Some most interesting developments in continental philosophy have been in literary and aesthetic theory. The MA in European Studies, while essentially a programme in literature and its relations to modern thought (psychoanalysis, structuralism), studies certain texts of modern continental philosophy (Freud, Heidegger). Students acquire a grounding in continental critical theory.
