Course content

Programme Content

Teaching will take place in intensive three day-long teaching blocks to allow attendance by part-time students from across the UK, Ireland and further afield. In total there will be six teaching blocks, two per semester for the first three semesters. In the fourth and final semester students work on their dissertation.

Students take six taught modules:
Ethical and Legal Issues at the End of Life
Health Care Ethics and Law in Relation to Families and Children
Medicine and Innovation: Ethical and Legal Issues
Methods in Law and Ethics
Principles for Medical Ethics and Law
Public Health, Justice and Prioritisation in Health Care

Students also complete a 15,000-word dissertation.
