Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree, or its equivalent in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.

Course content

This course caters to the general and yet specialist demand for graduates with required knowledge and skillsets to work in offshore locations, especially in the offshore electrical power sector.

The modules provide multi-disciplinary knowledge of the subject areas, and develop your business and management acumen through industry-relevant individual projects.
This is a career-enhancing course which will develop skills sought after by employers for a wide-range of roles such as project management, electrical engineering, controls and instrumentation and service maintenance in offshore locations. It will prepare you to confidently manage the challenges and advances being faced in the area of offshore engineering systems both today and in the future.

Information for international students

Postgraduate courses normally require an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all 4 components. Some of our courses require a different level of English. Please check our course pages for specific details. Test reports are valid for a period of 2 years and can be used as proof of English for admission if valid on the start date of your course.
