Course content

he Therapeutic Photography course at Robert Gordon University is the first of its kind in the world. You will develop the knowledge and skills to be able to confidently and competently use the technique in practice to enhance self-esteem, self-efficacy and empowerment.

Therapeutic Photography is the structured, guided engagement with the creative intervention of photography in order to produce images for exploration with clearly defined outcomes for the participant.

The course is aimed at professionals who are working with people who may be vulnerable, marginalised or reluctant to engage.

Information for international students

Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
