Course content

This course will not only equip Trainee Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status, but also with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or Professional Graduate Certificate in Education. The course has been designed by a team of experts with first-hand experience in education, all deeply committed to the importance of hands-on practical training. This, together with our strong local partnerships means we are able to provide some of the most distinctly school based teacher education courses currently available. This one-year full-time course aims to guide Trainee Teachers to become capable, confident and well instructed professionals within their chosen age range and subject.

Fees and funding

Trainees may be entitled to a tax free bursary from the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA). The size of the bursary depends on when you start training and what subject you train to teach. Trainees may also be eligible for student loans and grants.
