Entry requirements

The minimum entry requirement for an MPhil or an MPhil leading to a PhD degree is the equivalent of a UK upper second class honours degree in an appropriate subject, although in many cases a masters level qualification will also be expected. Contact department for further details.

Course content

We are located in a 1986 purpose-built building, with internationally-renowned laboratories in computer and structural modelling, chemical, radiogenic and stable isotope analysis. Research focuses on the 10 areas above, with major interdisciplinary projects on the evolution of the Red Sea rift and collision tectonics of SE Asia.
