Course contentThe Institute for the Study of the Americas is a research institute co-ordinating work on the Americas. It has a very far-reaching seminar and conference programme, and publishes books and papers. It has a lively and growing doctoral programme. MPhil and PhD research in areas of American studies supervised by teaching faculty. Member Institute of the School of Advanced Study, University of London. Research training provided. The University of London Library has an excellent American Studies collection and students may use other excellent resources including such local facilities as the Institute of Historical Research Library and British Library.
