Entry requirements

You typically need a good degree in law or related discipline. Candidates with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply. If English is not your first language you typically need an IELTS 6.5 score with at least 6.5 in reading and writing and a minimum of 5.5 in all other skills or equivalent. If your English language skill is currently below IELTS 6.5 we recommend you consider a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course which will enable you to achieve an equivalent English score.

You increase your knowledge of both European and international commercial law and build on this knowledge with work-based learning within the university or in an external law firm.
