Course content

Start or develop a career in the international hospitality industry, gaining a broad range of professional, technical and transferable skills required by the industry. This course offers an optional work experience route including a 6-12 month work placement for students starting in September.

  • Seek out and develop a depth of knowledge and understanding of management theories and specialised aspects of the hospitality business.
  • Critically evaluate and apply concepts to problems and issues in the international hospitality industry.
  • Explore your own value and belief systems and share ideas with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, thus promoting internationalisation.
  • Develop investigative research skills which will enable you to progress to research degrees or undertake consultancy.

The course is designed to provide you with the theoretical background, skills and experiences necessary to become successful leaders within the hospitality industry.
