Minimum 2.1 Undergraduate Honours degree from a UK university or the international equivalent. You must be able to demonstrate a good standard of English - a minimum score of IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands) or an equivalent qualification is required for this award. Significant appropriate experience will also be considered.
Months of entry
The discipline allows us to consider wide ranging ideas from questions of power, ideology, class, identity, gender, sexuality, technology, time and space through a complex array of different sociological and cultural/critical theory ideas and philosophies from contemporary continental philosophy. It is pertinent that the growing world of on-line communities such as Facebook, MySpace and YouTube have revolutionised the ways in which we 'see' ourelves, the ways in which we create our own identities, and the ways in which we communicate.
