Entry requirements

Applicants will normally: hold a UK Hionours degree, class (2.1) or above (or equivalent; have a minimum of one year working professional experience in a public health role, community, government setting or similar; APA will also be considered. We also require two references, a copy of your current CV and evidence of exisitng educational qualifications.

Course content

Designed to expand the knowledge and expertise required for practice in the fields of public and community health, this internationally recognised qualification will provide you with the essentail tools to be an effective public health worker or practitioner.

Key features of the course are:

  • A 'must have' for anyone aspiring to practice public health in the UK or overseas;
  • Provides a vital understanding of key public health issues;
  • The MPH is an internationally recognised qualification in general public health

Information for international students

Students whose first language is not English require either IELTS level 7.0 overall (Level 7 in reading & writing specificaly); OR TOEFL 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or min 100 (Internet-based test) OR Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English Grade B

Fees and funding

Currently, there are no bursaries for these awards. Applicants can apply for a career development loan from the usual agencies.
