The entry requirements for the PhD, MPhil and MSc by Research Civil Engineering is a first or second class honours degree in Engineering, Mathematics or similar relevant science discipline. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

The Zienkiewicz Centre for Computational Engineering at Swansea University has excellent computing facilities, including a state-of-the-art multi-processor super computer with virtual reality facilities and high-speed networking.
