Entry requirements
The entry requirements for the MSc Computational Engineering course is a first or second class honours degree in Engineering, Mathematics or similar relevant science discipline. You will also need to have an overall mark of at least 55%, however performance in key modules will also be considered. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.

Our globally renowned engineers pioneer the development of numerical techniques such as the finite element method, as well as computational procedures that help to solve complex engineering problems.
You will gain a practical understanding of computer modelling, and how it plays a critical role in engineering, science and emerging areas of interdisciplinary research.
Accredited by the JBM, this MSc also gives a comprehensive foundation in the finite element method in engineering mechanics.
