Course content

The programmes offer a structured and logical progression to learning, with a firm link to your specialist area of practice. You may be employed in speciality training posts, so a flexible approach to the programme delivery has been used. You develop an ability to understand how evidence is generated, retrieved, evaluated and importantly, employed within practice.

The programme enhances inter-professional learning and directs the focus of learning toward evidence-based clinical decision making. This is in line with the Government’s policy visions to develop evidence based driven professional practice. You can apply for entry to the third year of the MSc Evidence-based Medicine within five years of completing your PgDip.
