We normally look for an honours degree, or the equivalent, from any academic background plus a minimum of three years' postgraduate work experience with strong career progression. If you do not have a first degree, you may be eligible if you have significant work experience.

Fees and funding

UK students
International students

You need to have at least 3 years post-graduate work experience to apply to the programme. Gaining this experience, before you start your MBA, will benefit your studies and employment prospects, as well as the return on your investment. We admit high quality candidates with the talent and potential to become effective business and management leaders.

If you are British and have less than 3 years work experience, you may be eligible for our 'Young Potential Leaders' entry route and associated scholarships. For more information please contact the MBA recruitment team directly at mba@manchester.ac.uk.

All Full-time MBA applicants, regardless of nationality, education and professional background, are required to take an admissions test. Full-time MBA candidates normally take the GMAT, however we also accept the GRE.
