You should have an honours degree in pharmacy. You must be registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Course content
Our online distance learning course in Advanced Community Pharmacy Practice enables you to:
- Further develop your pharmacy consultation and clinical examination skills;
- Apply the principles of medicines optimisation to clinical decision-making in practice;
- Develop leadership behaviours.
This course aims to prepare you for enhanced clinical, public health and leadership roles.
We offer eighteen units as part of this course (see course list). You can study one unit as a standalone CPD course or take more units to build up credits for a postgraduate award (Certificate, Diploma or MSc) in either Advanced Community Pharmacy Practice or Clinical Pharmacy.
The course is supported by NHS England and Health Education England through the Pharmacy Integration Fund.
If you are eligible for Health Education England funding, you can choose up to four of these fully-funded units. All of our units are fully-funded until March 2020. See the scholarships and bursaries section below for more information.
