We require an honours degree (minimum Upper Second) or equivalent in a chemistry/analytical science related subject.
Months of entry
Analytical science is the science of obtaining, processing, and communicating information about the composition and structure of matter: it is the lynchpin of the chemical pharmaceutical, food and processing industries, where continual rigorous routine measurements are essential. Analytical scientists use their knowledge of chemistry, instrumentation, computers, and statistics to solve problems in almost all areas of chemistry and for all kinds of industries.
Our Analytical Science MSc aims to provide a high quality of training for those who are working within analytical science or for those who are looking to improve their analytical science skills. The course is delivered entirely online and is designed to enable students to work and study simultaneously. You will receive a high level of support from the programme team and will have the opportunity to form relationships with fellow students. We translate the excellent facilities that we have on campus via our virtual learning experience through videos and tutorial which will bring the facilities to you. The master's course concludes with a practical project which will improve your practical problem solving capability as well as benefitting your employer. The course is presented by Dr Philip Riby from the School of Chemistry.
