Entry requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelors degree with a minimum classification of Second Class Honours Upper Division (2:1) or its international equivalent. Admission of candidates who do not meet this criterion may be approved if satisfactory evidence of postgraduate study, research or professional experience can be provided. Please contact the School's admissions office for further guidance. IELTS overall score of 7 with a minimum writing score of 7 and 6 in the other subsections

The demand for well-trained practitioners in environmental assessment at both the project level (environmental impact assessment or EIA) and the strategic level (strategic environmental assessment or SEA), and in related environmental management fields continues to grow. To help to meet this demand, the MA programme in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management provides an opportunity for specialist study in this area.
