The University of Manchesters Nuclear Technology Management - Professional Development Programme (N-PDP) is a 3-6 year part-time continuous professional development course for graduates, experienced practitioners in the nuclear energy industry and those seeking to join the nuclear sector from elsewhere. Participants can gain a post-graduate certificate, diploma or Masters level qualification in Nuclear Technology Management.

The programme is the worlds first management-focussed course, covering nuclear operations, technology and engineering, and provides a flexible and tailored format for those seeking to enhance their skills in this field whilst fitting this in around their current work life. N-PDP offers a blended learning approach with a combination of distance learning and site visits, face-to-face lectures, tutorial and laboratory sessions delivered by renowned academics and nuclear industry practitioners.

The Nuclear-PDP Steering Group is made up of a broad range of industrial representatives from across the nuclear sector. Organisations that send delegates on the course have a presence on the current Steering Group, which operates on a rotation basis with a maximum membership limit.
