Project Management is an industry-led, distance learning programme that uses a Practice Based Learning approach to project management development. Therefore, this Project Management programme differs from others in that, rather than simple acquiring new knowledge and ideas, delegates are expected to adopt a reflective practice approach to apply their learning directly to their projects in the workplace. It acts as a Community of Practice for delegates to network and communicate with their peers so that they can share experiences and practices across a wide range of organisations and project environments.
Course objectives :
- To provide education in project managers;
- To update individual's and organisations competence;
- To support professional career development.
Project Management promotes reflection on the latest industry and academic thinking and supports a leadership level of understanding required for managing ever larger and more complex projects in the 21st Century.
It prepares individuals for taking on roles at a senior level by teaching functional project management topics that will be supported by the development of essential behavioural skills such as leadership, communication and problem solving.
This programme aligns with APM Competency Level 4 - Proficient.
