Months of entry
This programme aims to produce multi-skilled designers who engage passionately with the creation of the whole visual image in performance. Our unique focus on dance will enable you to draw inspiration from visual rather than text-based stimuli: the body in space as revealed by light.
You will be encouraged to establish a creative dialogue with the choreographer from the earliest stages of each practical project, creating work where design is integral rather than purely decorative. Each project throughout the programme is supported by lectures and seminars in areas of related theory, enabling you to critically reflect upon your own practice and that of other designers.
No other programme in the world provides such an opportunity to place scenography at the heart of dance creation. Our students come from many and varied disciplines including dance, choreography, architecture, sculpture, fine art and theatre design. Our programme contributes to a thriving community of emerging practitioners at Trinity Laban and ensures the development of highly original and vibrant dance performance.
