Entry requirements
The normal minimum qualifications are a Master’s degree in architecture from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard, or an equivalent professional architecture or design qualification.
The English language level for this programme is: Level 1.

Course content
In architecture, research and practice go hand in hand, with ground-breaking design inspiring great research and vice versa. This programme allows students to develop their own research and/or design to an advanced level, ready to push new boundaries and change normalised modes of working either in academia or industry. Many students on this programme work with their tutors to clarify a PhD proposal.
