All applicants must hold an approved dental degree qualification and a minimum of two years clinical experience post qualification and currently be working as a dentist.
If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

Months of entry
This programme will offer the busy General Dental Practitioner the opportunity to acquire intensive knowledge of the basic principles of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, the ability to assess the periodontal needs of a patient, the skills for non-surgical therapy, the understanding of surgical management of advanced periodontal cases and the fundamentals of diagnosis and treatment planning in implant dentistry.
This programme offers you the flexibility of a part-time blended learning educational route
With a focus on research, postgraduate education and training, the Institute is uniquely placed to offer this new Master's degree in Periodontology to dentists across the world.
There are multiple exit points (Certificate/ Diploma) for qualifying students who are not able to complete the whole MSc qualification.

Teaching is delivered and assessed in a variety of ways including: lectures, seminars, problem based learning, on line tutorials and practical work, group discussion, case presentations, videos and discussion forums and work-based learning.
For those starting in September 2020, the residential weeks at the Institute in London will be 26-30 October 2020 and 22-26 February 2021
