A minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. A first professional qualification and several years' relevant work experience is desirable. If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency. This MRes is aimed at those wishing to broaden or deepen understanding of aspects of the information world at postgraduate level, or to prepare for doctoral studies. It is also aimed at mid-career information and cultural professionals who wish to develop their leadership, management and professional skill.

Qualification and course duration
Taught modules are delivered through lectures, seminars, groupwork and practicals. Research skills are developed through classes within the department and students are encouraged to take courses run by UCL Doctoral School. Assessment is through a mixture of essays, reports, examination and practical assignments and by the dissertation and viva voce.
