Entry requirements

MPhil: Upper second-class honours degree, or professional graduate qualification accepted by the Institute as equivalent and 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) relevant experience. PhD: MPhil in education or taught Masters degree in education with research training recognition by the ESRC.

Software Required

* Adobe Reader (to download study resources and help material)
* Adobe Flash Player 7.0 or later (to view movies).
* A word processor and spreadsheet such as MS Word 97 and MS excel 97

Students follow a programme of study under the guidance of an appointed supervisor and advisory committee as well as undertaking research methods training in core courses. At the start of your programme you will draw up a plan for your research in consultation with your supervisor for completion of your thesis within the period of registration for the degree.
