Normally a minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard is required, plus at least two years' relevant work experience. Those who do not meet these criteria must show an ability to meet the demands of the programme through a qualifying assignment, to be agreed by the Programme Leader. If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency. The English language level for this programme is: Special. Only the IELTS or a pass to the required standard in the Institute of Education's pre-sessional English (PASHE) course are accepted. If taking IELTS, applicants must obtain an overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in the reading subtest and 6.0 in the writing subtest.. The Evaluation, Inspection and Educational Improvement MA will deepen a student's knowledge and understanding of evaluation, inspection and education improvement models and frameworks. It will enable them to critically evaluate emerging ideas and help them to consider the importance of values, equality, human rights and international perspectives when furthering their understanding of inspection and evaluation systems and practices.
