Entry requirements

A minimum of an upper second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.

If your education has not been conducted in the English language, you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.

Course content

The Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineeering MRes provides structured training in this diverse and multidisciplinary field and students may subsequently progress to an MPhil/PhD as part of a Doctoral Training Programme.

UCL Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering is one of the largest medical physics and bioengineering departments in Europe, with links to a large number of active teaching hospitals. We have arguably the widest range of research of any similar department, and work closely with other world-leading institutions.

Students on the programme will form part of an interactive network of researchers across many disciplines and will benefit from the strengths of UCL in the healthcare field.
